DMI Intensive Training Programme 2022/2023
This programme aims to utilise the time that we have with the DMI guest tutors. It aims to inspire students to pursue dancing with fresh vigour and passion. It consists of twice a year workshops for students in separate age groups 9-11yrs & 12-13yrs & 14-17yrs.
We stream for male dance students, if you are interested in this please submit the ITP form.
Most ITP places are filled by audition over our summer seminars.
This year will be our first time having four sessions throughout the year. Please find below our info booklet on our ITP.
As an Intensive Training Programme student you will have the opportunity to participate in question and answer time with our guest tutors, receive feedback and career advice, be choreographed on and be considered for outside opportunities around the world.
ITP Workshop days are scheduled from 9am-5pm for seniors and intermediates and 9am-4pm for juniors. Coaching days will vary in times.

Venue: Convergence Dance Studios
You will participate in a range of Classical, Contemporary, Character, Jazz, Neoclassical, Pointe, Variations, and Pas de Deux classes. Exact timetable and classes will be confirmed at latest a month prior to the programmes commencement.
If you have been selected by DMI as an ITP, we do have the following expectations:
Our DMI ITP programme supports you in your journey to becoming a dancer. Students pay one annual fee of $400 NZD per student, this is invoiced upon acceptance of your place as an ITP.

- We do expect you to attend both our Winter Workshop & Summer Seminar ITP Sessions and one other session.
- We do have an expectation of you attending either our Winter Workshops or our Summer Seminars, you may of course choose both if you wish.
